The Story
In Snow White and Me, two girls from the real world, Alex and Daisy, are pulled into a fairytale kingdom where stories are being rewritten by the evil Queen Endora. With the help of a hapless prince, a cast of familiar fairytale figures, and a little courage, they must save Snow White and discover the power to shape their own stories. The Cast Recording Is Out Now
The original cast recording for Snow White & Me: A New Musical hit streaming platforms on 29 May 2025. The album features Rob Madge as the Magic Mirror, with the Stephens College Missouri cast performing alongside West End musicians. As both Playbill and WhatsOnStage have reported, this is a landmark moment for the show. Three singles — "Perfect Princess", "Find My Story," and "Brand New Tune" — have already been released, with the full album available to stream now. A Global Production History
The creative team began developing Snow White and Me in 2014, and the musical has since built an impressive international track record. Productions have included a London workshop at the Delfont Rooms, Prince of Wales Theatre (2018); a production in Brno, Czech Republic (2022); and a run at Theater Plauen-Zwickau in Germany (2024). Most recently, it received its first English-language production at Columbia, Missouri's Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Stephens College, directed by Lisa Brescia, whose Broadway credits include Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia!, and Wicked. Now Playing: Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg, Germany — Summer 2026
Snow White and Me premiered at the Freilichtbühne Tecklenburg on Sunday 17 May 2026, opening the venue's new season. The production runs from 17 May to 2 September 2026 at one of Germany's most celebrated open-air theatre venues. The Creative Team
Pippa Cleary (Music & Lyrics) is a West End composer whose credits include The Great British Bake Off Musical, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ The Musical, and the Olivier-nominated My Son's a Queer (But What Can You Do?). The score draws on Cleary's lifelong love of Disney, with influences including Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. Broadway WorldPlaybill
Philip LaZebnik (Book & Lyrics) is a highly regarded writer whose film credits span two of the most beloved animated musicals of the 1990s. His screenwriting credits include Disney's Pocahontas and Mulan, and DreamWorks' The Prince of Egypt and The Road to El Dorado. His collaboration with Ronald Kruschak — a German-based writer, producer and filmmaker who originated the project as both a musical and film — brings a wealth of international storytelling experience to the show.
